I. Training objective
Students in this major are trained applied talents who grasp machinary engineering and the fundatmental knowledge and theory of enetrprise management and have the ability of knowledge quality, technology in the terms of industrial engineering and are engaged in enterprise production management system and relative plan, design, operation, evaluation and improvement.
II. Training requirements
The major emphasizes on learning the basic theory and knowledge in electrical engineering technology and industrial engineering and receiving the basic training of applicated industrial engineering theory and method analysis and resolving questions and having the basic ability of manufacture management system plan, design and optimization.
Graduates should have the following characteristics, knowledge and ability:
1. To grasp the basic knowledge of machinery electrical product design method and manufacture technology;
2. To grasp the basic industrial engineering theory and knowledge of operation process analysis, work research, method research, time research and man machine system design;
3. To be familiar with enterprise production system, quality control system and logistics system and have the ability of analysis, design and optimization;
4. To have the quality and ability of workshop management in choosing location, facilities planning, floor plan layout and stock control;
5. To understand the theatrical development and application of industrial engineering and have the ability in computer;
6. To have the ability of English listening, speaking, reading and writing and reading English materials.

Descriptive geometry and engineering drawing, electrotechnology, fundamentals of mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing engineering, management, operational research, statistics, basic industrial engineering, human factors engineering, Advanced manufacturing system, production plan and control, quality management and reliability and logistics engineering and son on.
VI. The main practices
Enterprise knowing practice, metal technology practice, English training, product practice, course design of machine design base, MIS course design, course design of fundamental industrial engineering, graduate design.
VII. Period
The major carries out flexible studying system. The basic period is four years, but students can finish for 3—6 years.
